Silicon Valley companies have been flocking to Seattle in recent months, coming here (not for the nice weather obviously) but a desire to tap into the region’s robust technical talent. I’ve taken some heat in the GeekWire comment threads for pointing out that our region needs a Facebook, Twitter or Zynga-style company to emerge in order to help cement the Pacific Northwest’s role in the innovation economy.
The trend got me thinking: If you could get your wish and choose just one technology giant to be headquartered here, which one would it be and why?
This is more of a fun exercise than a scientific poll. But I’d still like to hear your logic on why you made the choice you did.
