Caitlyn Jenner posted her very first tweet yesterday — and amassed more than 1 million followers in just over four hours, beating President Barack Obama’s record of a million followers in 4 hours and 52 minutes.
The Guinness Book of World Records posted on the feat today: “The reality star and former Olympic athlete’s new verified account @Caitlyn_Jenner reached the figure in just 4 hours and 3 minutes.”
Here’s Jenner’s tweet below, which has also been retweeted more than 230,000 times. To date, she now has more than 2 million followers:

The tweet features Jenner on the cover of Vanity Fair, which hits stands June 9. Formerly known as Bruce, the Olympic gold medalist and E! Channel staple on many a Kardashian show, Jenner is the feature story for June, which is Pride Month.
