Here’s a workplace perk we can fully support: Live mini-concerts in the office.

Brown Paper Tickets is hosting an “Office Concert” today for its employees. Office Concerts is a new service that brings live music to the workplace for companies in Western Washington. Brown Paper Tickets will host local indie musician Aaron English, who will play a 35-minute coffee break concert for their phone room concierges.

“Office concerts promotes camaraderie and employee retention, and make great client appreciation events,” said Fran Snyder, founder of Office Concerts in a statement. “Music therapy studies show the healing and inspirational impacts of music, especially in a live setting. Office Concerts combine these two effects — a real break with live music.”

Care to host an office concert of your own? Costs range from $350 for a single performance to $4,500 for a year’s worth of monthly performances, and will feature international touring artists from a Concerts in Your Home roster. You can request your own Office Concert here.
