The new Ghostbusters cast has taken plenty of heat for being an all-female crew, but this first official photo released on Twitter today has the women looking nothing short of badass.
Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon are in full khaki jumpsuits, with proton packs locked and loaded:

The movie, directed by Paul Feig and co-written by Dan Aykroyd, is due out next July. Of course, a few favorites from the original, including Bill Murray and Sigourney Weaver, will also drop in.
Never did understand the criticism about the cast for the reboot — maybe this picture will shut a few haters up.
