Astronauts aboard the International Space Station have captured some amazing shots of Super Typhoon Maysak.
European Space Agency astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti caught this spectacular image of the super typhoon that reached Category 5 hurricane status on Tuesday, according to NASA. The photograph was NASA’s image of the day yesterday.

According to Weather.com, the super typhoon is headed toward the Philippines and will land by this weekend, and winds are expected to slow down to around 150 mph. At its strongest, winds were up to 160 mph, and it is responsible for at least five deaths in Micronesia.
