Users who downloaded iOS 10 before Friday were advised by T-Mobile to fix the bug in their phone’s settings.
Previous story: T-Mobile CEO John Legere advised customers with an iPhone 5SE, 6 or 6 Plus not to download the new iOS 10 until Apple can fix a major bug that is causing T-Mobile customers to lose connectivity.
Neville Ray, chief technology officer for the Bellevue, Wash.-based wireless carrier, tweeted that Apple should have a fix within 24 to 48 hours.
In the meantime, if T-Mobile customers have already downloaded the new operating system and experience issues, Ray advises that the temporary fix is to power down the iPhone and restart.

If you have iPhone 5SE 6 or 6+ & already updated to iOS 10 and see issues, temp fix is to restart your phone every time you lose connection.

GeekWire contributor Kevin Lisota told us that he lost his T-Mobile connection on his iPhone 6 five times between Wednesday and Thursday.
“Powering off the device was the only way to fix it,” Lisota said. “It messed up my car navigation in Apple Maps this morning, disconnecting mid-trip.”
Apple’s iOS 10, the company’s “biggest release yet,” became available to customers earlier this week.
