As Chris Berman would say on ESPN, “Back back back back back.” Who knew his familiar call for baseball home runs could also be used to describe people trying to capture a selfie with Hillary Clinton.
In an image some are using to sum up the age in which we live, official Clinton campaign photographer Barbara Kinney captured a group of supporters turning their backs on the Democratic presidential hopeful in the hopes of capturing a group selfie.

But before we get too judgy on young people and their smartphones and putting the “i” in Hillary or whatever, it was Clinton who encouraged the overflow crowd at a campaign event in Orlando to turn and face the other way.
Kinney told Mashable that Clinton stood up on the podium and said, “OK everybody, turn around and we’ll do a group selfie.” The story says staffers next to her were told to move aside so those in the crowd could get a better shot with the former Secretary of State.
Kinney, a former White House photographer, also said Clinton is used to grabbing people’s phones to capture selfies herself as she works the crowd at events.
