Plenty of people believe Christ is coming back, someday. Not sure how many thought he’d show up driving an Uber.
Daniel Powell, a television producer, tweeted a screen shot for our times Thursday night after getting an alert that his Uber driver was arriving for a trip he took in Los Angeles.
“Christ is arriving soon in a Hyundai Elantra” read the first message, adding that Christ would wait 2 minutes.
A moment later, a “message from Christ” appeared on Powell’s phone: “I have arrived.”

Wading into the replies on Twitter can be a dicey proposition on almost any tweet, but Powell and his followers offered up some real gems.
He said he rated the Uber driver with the Biblical name five stars after getting the standard “thanks for riding with Christ” message.
Others were quick to point out that they had ridden with “Jesus” in the past.
