Gmail is getting smarter.
At its big Google I/O developers conference today, Google’s email service unveiled a new feature called Smart Compose that predicts what you’ll type. It uses artificial intelligence to suggest potential words; users can hit the tab key to accept Google’s recommendation. Smart Compose is available for consumers over the next few weeks and for G Suite customers in the coming months.

Smart Compose arrives off the heels of a recent Gmail redesign that includes features like Nudging, Snooze, and others. Gmail last year also introduced Smart Reply on mobile, and rolled it out to desktop last month.
To try the new features, go to settings on your Gmail and enable “Try the new Gmail.” Then go to the general tab in settings and enable “experimental access.”
Google made a flurry of other announcements today at I/O. You can watch the full stream above. Here’s a quick rundown.
